Natural light at Morrow

General Access Information

There are two common area entrances to the building. The main entrance on 910 Richards St. has one flight of thirteen stairs. If you would like elevator access, there is an elevator that can be accessed from the back door entrance. It’s a freight elevator, so you may require help using it. If you want to use the elevator, we will let you in at the back door entrance, which is in the parking lot behind 910 Richards, cornering Smithe. If you would like help using the elevator, please let us know. We’re happy to support.
There is one wheelchair accessible and one gender neutral washroom.
For public events, we provide scent free soap in washrooms and encourage that people do not wear scents in the venue.
When event participants who are immunocompromised request, we encourage event guests to wear masks. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one.
Morrow’s Gallery has most items displayed at four feet or below and if there are items out of reach, we are here to help.
For people wishing to hold events with a stimulus-reduced area, there are areas adjacent to the studio where it’s possible to adjust factors such as lighting and sound levels.

In compliance with British Columbia Public Health Orders, Morrow observes all and any COVID-19 safety protocols. See our current protocols below and please note that they may be stricter than what is mandated by BC Health. Thank you for your patience as we strive to support a healthy arts community!

General visitor rules: We request that people with signs of illness do not visit. We request that people who have tested positive for COVID 19 and have not subsequently received negative antigen tests results, do not visit.
Events: Public events at Morrow are ongoing. When we host events where participating artists who are immunocompromised request precautionary measures, we encourage event attendees to wear masks. We request that people with signs of illness do not attend events that we host. For events hosted by other organizations or artists, we require that they follow BC Public Health Orders around COVID-19 safety.
Creative work and classes: Rehearsals and workshop activities are ongoing at Morrow. To ensure ventilation, we request that windows be opened and ceiling fans on.
Gallery visitors: Morrow’s gallery is open to visitors. Please book an appointment. Hand sanitizer is available upon entry. During your visit windows/doors will be open to aid air flow.
