Made In Voyage is an homage to the grandmothers of seven dance artists: collages of memory and movement that capture family anecdotes alongside stories of diaspora, war and peace. Reflections on nurturing and resilience that are odes to matrilineage.
Made In Voyage premiered in Fall 2020 at Morrow as a pandemic pivot during which six performers shared 54 performances during a three-week run, for five audience members at a time. Again at Morrow in Fall 2021, three of the solos were presented during a 20-performance run for seven audience members at a time.
