We opened Morrow's gallery at the onset of the pandemic to support artists in generating income during a time when work was scarce. The community rallied and there was a lot of activity in the gallery's first year of operation, with artists displaying and selling material creations and earning 80% – 100% profit.
We’ve tapered off having a ongoing ‘shop’ but Morrow's gallery continues to be a sweet spot and we’re open to new ways to animate this room that is adjacent to the studio. It would be wonderful if artists would like to curate a rotation of exhibits, or take over the gallery for their own work. Or perhaps we could create a reading library and tea room?
